Who We Are

We understand choosing a hearing care provider is a big decision. At Advanced Audiology & Hearing Care, our number one priority is delivering exceptional patient care. Our staff combines over twenty years of expertise in hearing healthcare, and is well-trained on a variety of services ranging from evaluations to treatment.

We believe great care includes establishing great relationships with our patients. Treating hearing loss is an ongoing process that requires regular follow-ups, maintenance and cleanings to keep you hearing your best. Our staff is here to support you not only during your initial visit but throughout your entire journey to better hearing.

Our Provider & Staff

Kelly Chastain-McDowell, M.A., CCC-A

Audiologist

Kelly has been a licensed audiologist since 1995. She started her passion for hearing care in 1988. While obtaining her undergraduate degree from Indiana State University and her graduate degree from Indiana University, she did her internships at VA Hospital and Riley Hospital in Indianapolis. She then decided to open her own audiology office in her hometown of Bedford, Indiana.

Laura Baker

Office Manger/Billing Specialist

Laura has been growing with Advanced Audiology for more than twelve years. As our resident Superhero Laura acts as our Office Manager and Billing Specialist Extraordinaire. Outside of the office Laura is a proud Mitchell athletics supporter, mother to three sons, and a grandma.

Carl Chenault

Receptionist

Carl came to us in October 2025. She graduated from Mitchell High School in May 2025. He is attending college online to obtain a degree in medical imaging. He enjoys spending time with her friends and family. He plays soccer and basketball in his spare time. He also coaches MJHS soccer and Mitchell biddy basketball. He also loves being a cat dad to Mr Whiskers, Stanley, Martian and Pumpkin. Carl is eager to help each client with hearing aid cleanings, minor repairs, and scheduling your hearing needs.
